The Syrotech Networks GOXQ28-85100G-SR4 is a Four-Channel, Pluggable, Parallel, Fiber-Optic QSFP28 Transceiver for 100 Gigabit Ethernet Applications. This transceiver is a high performance module for short-range multi-lane data communication and inter connect applications. It integrates four data lanes in each direction with 100 Gbps bandwidth. Each lane can operate at 25.78125 Gbps up to 100 m using OM3 fiber or 150 m using OM4 fiber. These modules are designed to operate over multimode fiber systems using a nominal wavelength of 850nm. The electrical interface uses a 38 contact edge type connector. Optical 12 fiber MTP (MPO) connector. This module incorporates Syrotech Networks proven circuit and VCSEL technology to provide reliable long life, high performance, and consistent service.
This product is a 100Gb/s transceiver module designed for optical communication applications compliant to 100GBASE-LR4 of the IEEE P802.3ba standard. The module converts 4 input channels of 25Gb/s electrical data to 4 channels of LAN WDM optical signals and then multiplexes them into a single channel for 100Gb/s optical transmission. Reversely on the receiver side, the module de-multiplexes a 100Gb/s optical input into 4 channels of LAN WDM optical signals and then converts them to 4 output channels of electrical data.
GOXQ28-13100G-ER4 Lite optical Transceiver integrates receiver and transmitter path on one module. In the transmit side, four lanes of serial data streams are recovered, retimed, and passed to four laser drivers. The laser drivers control 4- EML with center wavelength of 1296 nm, 1300nm, 1305nm and 1309 nm. The optical signals are multiplexed to a single –mode fiber through an industry standard LC connector. In the receive side, the four lanes of optical data streams are optically de-multiplexed by the integrated optical demultiplexer. An APD and trans-impedance amplifier, retimed, recovers each data stream. This module features a hot-pluggable electrical interface, low power consumption and MDIO management interface.
